Miami-based photographer Sonya Revell creates images that emerge from her delightful daydreams of dazzling candy colors. She collaborates closely with the curious and compelling characters that help bring her daydreams to life and who also appreciate her affinity for alliteration.
In addition to her fine-art projects, Sonya is also an award-winning commercial and editorial portrait photographer. In 2020, the One Eyeland Awards named Sonya “Editorial Photographer of the Year” for her series Queef Latina Stars in Cabana Fever. Her work has been featured in Forbes, Luxe Interiors + Design, Surface, Billboard, and The Wall Street Journal, and her commercial clients include General Motors, the University of Miami Health System, and American Airlines.
