Analea Marta Adam-Rabel (AMAR) is a 4 and a half year old American artist of mixed heritage, including Haitian, Cuban and Anglo ethnicities. She was born in Miami, Florida in 2018 to artist parents, who began to foster her innate artistic abilities as soon as she could sit up and hold a crayon. AMAR has an aptitude for digital art, shooting photos with her mom’s iPhone and retouching them with the native photo app, or with Photoshop. She also loves to paint and collaborate with her mom, mostly on images of mermaids, as strong feminist heroines who protect the environment. More recently, AMAR has created mermaids of her own as part of stories she imagines. AMAR has a big heart and loves nature, including animals and people. She has said that “Happiness just comes from love.”
