As a citizen functioning day-to-day in a fast-paced environment can be emotionally draining. Zilberbeg regrounds herself in the calming nature of the animals she photographs. The works are a combination of many photographs from different locations around the world, put together digitally by the artist. Their minimal aesthetic is metaphorical of striving for simplicity. Rather than looking to the future or thinking about the past, Zilberberg’s works invite a meditative state, encouraging the viewer to stay still and find happiness in the moment.1of 2
