Juggling too much?

Spherical Multiple is a combined series of juggling balls and bungee cords hand sewn with reinvented studio materials. Hang them on your tree or anywhere really for Christmas, Chrismukkah, or in an entryway…

I’ve been dreaming of mini spheres for a while now. I think of them in the spirit of combines and Robert Rauschenberg. The third eye is a symbol used throughout many cultures worldwide to represent protection and self-power.

The history of the multiple has yet to be fully written. In 19th century western culture, William Morris and Walter Crane usedmass-production methods to take art to the public and remain true to their socialist ideals. Spurred on byMarcel Duchamp's ready-mades, the multiple became subversive in the 20th century. I love to think of that bright idea moment when Andy Warhol took the props from the windows at Gunther Jaeckel’s department store and brought them into the gallery. Currently thinking of female Fluxus artists who contributed, and there’s so much more to say!
