Moses Zibor
-
Despite a burgeoning career, Zibor took a 10 year hiatus from the world of art in 2010 to pursue another passion of his—football. In 2020, a resurgent Moses Zibor was armed with elegantly rendered figurative paintings, pictorial essays, and essays of contemporary men and women. His art is alive with power, colour, and vibrancy that seemed to have only intensified with his time away from the canvas.

Conscious Symbolism
It is from the rich mesh of cultures and the artist’s interdisciplinary learned nature that such bright works are produced. Radiating a vibrancy unweathered by dull pigments or the onslaught of the world's woe, Zibor’s subjects vary from scenic nature, to people, to frozen moments of time, all of which are imbued with conscious symbolism. Though often occupying a surrealist space, the weight of color grounds Zibor’s work in a realness that subverts the dreamlike quality of the art form.
