Manju Shandler is a visual artist and theater designer, with a B.A. in Performing Visual Arts from Bennington College. Local to Brooklyn, NY, she is large supporter and activist in her communities exhibitions and events. At the same time, Manju has shown her work across the world in various solo exhibitions spanning through the US, Italy, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Hong Kong.
Manju's work focuses on the cultural commentary of both present and historical humanities, and the connections that are formed across eras within and outside their respective communities. From the sociopolitical machinations of a contemporary America to ordeals and reasoning of a modern culture still using the stars and Zodiac to dictate our future, Manju's dialogues span a wide range of emotional release and conversations the artist wants to spark in not only the imagination of the audience, but within the artist herself.
