Katrina Majkut investigates how social traditions impact civil rights.
In 2024, she has a solo show at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art and is in the group show Get in the Game at SF MoMA and Dallas Contemporary Museum. Selected exhibitions include over 40 colleges, Spring Break, Tyger Tyger Gallery, Bronx Museum Biennial, Every Women Biennial, Dorksy Museum, and Museum of Craft and Design. Fellowships include Wassaic Projects, Forge, and Bronx Museum AIM. Residencies include Elizabeth Murray/Collarworks, MASS MoCA, and Project for Empty Space. Her artworks are in private collections such as the 21C Museum and Dana Farber. Majkut’s MFA is from SMFA/Tufts.
