Using the wind as a metaphor for both uncertainty and hope, artist Naomi White places plastic packaging adrift in the sky. The wind turbines and electicity towers, signs of modernity and convenience, entrap the floating debris. Offering a visual representation of the invisible forces that affect our lives and the lives of generations to come, the series of photos in Shipwrecked beg us to question the unsustainable future we all face due to climate change. Will our children have the same opportunities we did? What will the road look like for them?
