We are grateful to announce that our Summer exhibition in The CAMP Gallery Westport, Caprices, A Contemporary Homage to Goya, has been extended to run through July and August. The exhibition features reinterpretations of Goya's iconic vignettes from Luis Alonso, Violeta Caldrés, Jac Lahav, Aurora Molina, and German Molina.
The exhibition, which consists predominantly of fiber, will be including works from Boston-based fiber artist Natalia Schonowski alongside a mix of quilts made especially for The CAMP Gallery for last year's edition of Women Pulling at the Threads of Social Discourse: FAMA Quilts to coincide with a Quilt Square Scavenger Hunt event produced in partnership with MoCA Westport and our lovely next-door-neighbors at the Westport Museum for History & Culture to celebrate Connecticut's textile heritage.
